Study: StudentBench: AI Tutoring Research Study for GRE and SAT Preparation. You are being asked to participate because you are 18 or older and are preparing for the GRE or SAT.
Purpose and participation
The purpose is to understand how well AI tutoring improves test performance. A study session takes about 2 hours. You will answer intake questions, complete a pre-test, complete an AI tutoring session, and take a post-test.
Risks and benefits
Risks are minimal and include time, fatigue, frustration with test questions, and the possibility that the tutor may make mistakes. You may benefit from practice, tutoring, and a personalized report. Benefits are not guaranteed.
Information collected
We collect name, email, age, grade or education level, session data, answers, tutoring transcripts, timing information, and related technical records. Results are reported in aggregate or de-identified form. Research records are retained for at least 6 years after publication.
Uncompensated, voluntary participation
Participation is unpaid. You will not receive payment, a gift card, credit, or any other compensation for taking part. What you receive is free tutoring and your pre-test results. Taking part is voluntary. You may stop at any time without penalty and at no cost to you.
